In Key Stage One we had a Castles workshop. Lots of us dressed up as if we were living in a castle. It was so much fun! In the morning we had 12 different stations where we chose which activity we wanted to do. Some of us practised making ink and writing our names using a feathered quill. Some of us made candles and practised our stitching skills!
In the afternoon, we were split into groups and all took part in a special activity. Some of us were dancers, some of us acted in a play and some of us sat at the top table, pretending to be lords and ladies! We also had some jesters who were part of the entertainment. We had to practise juggling and walking tight ropes. After that, we all had a banquet! We were served by children who pretended to be servants (like they had in castles) and we were lucky enough to eat the bread and cheese!
It was such a fun day and we cannot wait to start writing our non- fiction texts about all we have learned!
Castles day was very fun. May favourite part was the banquet.

I hope everyone had a great time ??
It looks a very fun day and it looks like it was a very good re-enactment of what it would have been like in Medieval times.
I really enjoyed the castles day, workshop
I really enjoyed the castle workshop.I got to write with a feather quill but before that I had to make ink because in those days there were no pens.I also got to make ugly scary faces out of clay because then you could put them on the castle wall so then they will scare the enemies away.???
