This week the chicks have been learning about Autumn and investigating all the autumnal things in our environment, we were lucky enough to have 3 pumpkins in class. 
We investigated the pumpkins by cutting them open and exploring what was inside? 
We used our senses to explore the pumpkin, smelling them and feeling them. 
The chicks were amazed by what was inside… 
We looked closely using a magnifying glass. 
They used tools to dig, scoop, squash and squeeze. 
and pinch. 
The chicks made concoctions and potions.
