We had an absolutely fabulous World Book Day 2021!
While it was a little different this year, there were SO many exciting activities that we participated in.
One of the highlights of the day was the Rosary Masked Reader! Teachers read a classic story from behind different masks!
Did you manage to guess any of the teachers? How many did you get right? Some of the disguised voices were really tricky!

Lots of us dressed up as book characters! We discussed our favourite books and authors and shared our costumes on Zoom.
We were also lucky enough to attend online events organised by Scholastic. We learnt about how to make our writing funny and some of us attended drawing workshops!
In the afternoon, there was a range of activities which focussed on art, reading and stories to complete. We also had a World Book Day Quiz!!

What a great celebratory day to have just before our full return to school. It was wonderful to see the effort that everyone had gone to with their thoughtful, creative costumes! A special thank you to Miss Duncan for organising 🙂
