We have been carrying on with our science learning based on our topic, ‘Green fingered Growers.’
Our sunflowers have made an appearance and now have green stems shooting up. Our experiment to find our if bigger seeds grow bigger plants has been very exciting. Our smallest seed came out the quickest whilst our biggest seed did very little for a week but it suddenly shot out and is now towering over the other two seeds. See some of our observations below.
We are now exploring the life cycle of a seed and are looking more closely at how seeds germinate. Today we teamed up with a buddy to begin our next enquiry. We will be watching our broad beans and runner beans very carefully over the next week to observe when germination process.
