As part of our Autumn learning, the chicks have been learning where hedge hogs go for the winter and how they survive. First, they decorated their own hedgehogs and talked about all the hedgehog facts they know. Ask your chick to tell you all the facts they have learnt. Some Chicks even helped Miss Jackson to develop their own poem We then read the story about Ned the hedgehog who had to find a home for winter on a cold, dark night. Chicks made their own hedgehogs using salt dough and cloves and will be bringing them home to get nice and cosy for the winter.
