The chicks enjoyed a variety of number games both inside and out. They practised counting using one to one correspondence and took part in games that encouraged subitising and cardinality.

Dominoes is great fun and a wonderful way to practise number recognition, counting and subitising.
We can count anything….inside…

We looked at quantity and talked about which number was bigger or smaller. 
Miss Kennedy joined in the fun and she loved our number outfits! Ask your chick to teach you one of the number games they learnt.
