Father Andrew came to visit us today to speak to us about our new topic, ‘Following Jesus.’
We discussed the fact that we are all followers of Jesus. A disciple is a follower of Jesus. We need to love others, obey God and pray to Him. We also learnt about the twelve apostles and named some of them!
We then spoke about the Ten Commandments. We are taught to love ourselves, God, Jesus and our neighbour. We shared ideas about how we can show love for others. Father Andrew spoke about the importance of praying. This is when we speak to and listen to God. We can ask Him questions and thank Him. He always forgives us when we say sorry.
