This year we supported the Catholic Children’s Society Lenten Appeal. The Crisis Fund provides emergency assistance for families living in poverty. We have raised an amazing £575 through collecting coins in the boxes provided. Well done everyone!
As this year is a special Jubilee Year of Mercy, the Diocese is encouraging all children to respond to Pope Francis’ call to show mercy to others. ‘Follow in His Footsteps’ asks children to follow Jesus’ example by exploring how he showed love, kindness and mercy to others. Parents can support their children by discussing the booklets sent home; please encourage the children to complete the activities during Lent.
