What perfect weather we had today for a zoo trip! To help immerse us in our new Science topic, ‘Survival’, we visited the different animals.
We saw lions, tigers, monkeys, butterflies, goats, zebras, giraffes and we were lucky enough to watch the Penguin Show while we ate our lunch! We even found the spot that featured in Harry Potter… we spent a long time getting very excited about our visit to the Reptile House!
We also had a work shop on colours, pattern and camouflage! It was great fun discussing these terms and we were able to feel the skin of different animals. We had to match their habitats, patterns and colours.
Just when we thought the day was over, we managed to see the African wild dogs eating their dinner! It was amazing! You can watch our video by clicking here!
