Stone Age Survivors!

Today, we had a workshop with Hampstead Heath Education all about the Stone Age.

First, we handled and examined different stone age materials that were used for clothing, farming and weaponry. We made educated guesses about what each material would have been used for, drawing on our knowledge of the Stone Age from our lessons. Then, we went to the Secret Garden to build shelters out of wood and light fires. We worked as teams to learn how to survive in the Stone Age times.
