Children in year five were treated to a very special workshop run by Central Saint Martins. We learnt about the amazingly broad range of media that students at art school study. We focused particuarly on digital media and how useful it can be. Did you know, at the start of the Covid pandeic, scientists used digital media to make a model of the Corona virus so that they could try and learn more about it?
We worked in groups to create a class avatar to encapsulate all of our qualitites and characteristics. After a tough voting process, we have named it Kawaii Stitch!
Kawaii Stitch was 3D scanned and is now having movement added by specialist technicians. When we have received the animation, we will post it for everyone to enjoy.
