Today, we had a fabulous trip to Kew Gardens to learn more about our Science topic “We’re Buzzing”.
We had a brilliant workshop where we identified the different parts of the flower and discussed different methods of seed dispersal. We also used microscopes to examine each part of a flower more closely and create some observational drawings of different plants from Kew Gardens. After lunch, we went to one of the conservatories in Kew Gardens and saw a range of plants from ten different climate zones. We analysed the different features of the plants which shows how they have adapted to their own environments.
