Today, we learnt a new game called “Double Double” which helps us to make connections between the 2x and 4x tables.
We have been practising this skill using the counting stick this week and put our learning into action through a game of Double Double. The aim of the game is to cover four numbers in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally by doubling or “double-doubling” the number rolled with a dice. We had to think strategically about the placement of our answer and test our multiplication skills.
