Today was a day filled with fortune as we were graced by a workshop led by the students of La Sainte Union. Their enthusiasm and informative teaching ignited the Snowy Owls’ interest in the art of bridge building. Our workshop commenced with an enlightening introduction to the various types of bridges. Subsequently, the children enthusiastically plunged into constructing their very own bridges, armed with only limited materials. Their challenge? To ascertain if a toy car could successfully traverse their creations. Despite the fierce competition, the bridges not only withstood the test but also showcased remarkable ingenuity and thoughtfulness across the entire class. We were thoroughly captivated by the session, and it’s evident that we may just have a cohort of future structural engineers in the making.
