Our chicks have been thinking about how they can care for God’s creatures. We decided to get close to some mini-beasts so that we could practise our caring skills. We made a wormery! The chicks filled the wormery with sand and soil in different layers and placed leaves on the top. This will provide them with a home and food. They looked for worms in our mud kitchen and our prayer garden. They managed to find three worms! As a class, we found out some interesting facts about worms, ask your child which facts they can remember.
