This half term, our topic is Europe and Rivers. In our art lessons, we have learnt about iconic European artists, with a special focus on Van Gogh and his distinctive style. We have also explored famous European landmarks. Inspired by Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’, we created our own landscapes using oil pastels. We used vibrant, swirling patterns to emulate Van Gogh’s technique, layering compositions with the silhouette of a famous European landmark.
