Today, in Toucans we had a fun and delicious way to learn about fractions by using pancakes! We cut pancakes into different pieces to help us understand how fractions work. For example, we divided a pancake into halves, quarters, and eighths, showing how each part is a fraction of the whole. It was a tasty way to practice math while celebrating the tradition of Pancake Day with our friends!
