Look at what the chicks found in their Nursery!

A mysterious piece of paper was found by the children in our new water tray today, it was in a bottle! We opened it up and inside was a message from a Pirate! He told us that he was lost, that he couldn’t find the sea and he needed us to look after his treasure until he came back from his search. He signed the letter Captain C McKeay…

We looked inside and it was full of colourful treasures! The children understand that the treasure is extremely precious and that they are the guardians of this rich bounty. They decided that they could make the captain a map so that he could find his way to the sea. Some children drew him pictures and thought all about the different things a pirate needs for his life at sea.
