Nativity songs
This weekend we want you to keep practicing the songs for the Nativity.
It is so important you really know the songs so that you can sing out as loudly as possible.
Remember to bring in your clothes for the dress rehearsal on Monday!!!!!!!
Multiplication
This week Toucans class have really got into multiplication. We built up our understanding gradually by first using practical equipment to show simple multiplication calculations.
Next we moved on to repeated addition, and used the Numicon to show the value of each number we repeatedly added.
After that, we moved on to arrays. We all loved this method and got used to the language of ‘groups of’ and ‘lots of’ to multiply.
Have a go at experimenting at home with arrays for the 2,3,5 and 10 times tables.
