Today Flamingos and Kingfishers travelled back in time to the Roman Era!
We were visited by some historical figures who taught us all about what it was like to live in the Roman Empire. From a gladiator to a merchant, a Roman lady and even Boudicca, we listened to stories from all walks of life. We found out what the Romans ate, how they spent their leisure time and saw lots of the objects and trinkets that they would have owned. We also felt the wrath of Boudicca and her anger towards the invaders.
It certainly was an afternoon of entertainment and education!
