A fun filled week in Lorikeet class

This week has been jam packed full of fun in Lorikeet class week.

It all began on Monday when Patrick came to visit us. Patrick is a paramedic who drives an ambulance in the Camden area. He was very, very interesting and we learnt so much. We now know all the different methods of transport that paramedics use, how long it should take them to respond to a call and what kit they always carry with them. 

He explained how each piece of kit worked and when each was used. It was all very interesting and we wrote down some fantastic facts we had learnt after the session!

On Friday we were very lucky! We had lots of parents coming to visit us for our Stay and Read session. We had many different types of books non-fiction, traditional tales and poems. It was so much fun reading lots of different books with lots of different people.

As you can see we all had such a fantastic morning! We hope some more of our family members will be able to join us for our nest Stay and Read on November 4th. If you were able to come today, what was your favorite book?
