On Thursday 14th September, author, Billy Bob Buttons (real name, Edward) came to visit UKS2. He shared lots of ideas for writing great stories and talked about many of the books he has written.
It was interesting to hear that he had started out as a pilot, also been a secondary school teacher and finally become an author.
Many of us bought a signed copy of a book of our choice (by Billy Bob Buttons) and we were very excited to get reading straight away!
A vey big thank you to Billy Bob Buttons who has inspired many young budding authors at the Rosary! ?
I really enjoyed the authors day. Billy Bob Buttons was really funny.
He seems like a good author and I learnt some great tips which I will try to use in my writing in future.
