Today, Julie Wilkinson, from Brave the Rage, came to visit Condors. During our workshop, we looked at different types of behaviour: assertive, aggressive and passive. We role-played different scenarios to learn how to manage our behaviour in different situations. What was the most memorable part of the workshop for you?
We were asked to write down what we respect, and I wrote I respect my younger cousin. ? Thanks Julie.
I wrote that I respect dance because I get to express myself in way that nobody understands?
I really enjoyed how Julie showed us a role play to see the diference between passive, agressive and assertive.
I will try to use the techniques if people bully me but I hope to never use them.
This was very fun. I learnt a lot on how to stay safe.
I really liked the techniques Julie taught us and will definitely use them. My favourite technique is ‘The Jolly Joker’ because you come up with a clever response without insulting the person.
I respect the army and police as they dedicated their life to save to save us from threats even if that results their life been taken away.
I respect Nelson Mandela because he fought for the freedom of the black population in south africa.
I learned many interesting tips on how to stay safe from bullies today! My favorite technique was either the jolly joker or the parrot though I loved the chocolate bubble too! I thought the bully shopkeeper was a fun role play representation of being passive, assertive and aggressive ???! Lastly, I thought those were all wonderful people to respect and I would very much agree with you. Thank you Julie, yet again it was a pleasure full experience.
