Last night the Boys and Girls 5/6 Football teams had their opening round matches at Talacre Sports Centre.
We had a mixture of results for each team registering a win, draw and a few loses. Stand out performers in the Boy’s 3 games were Oliver W who scored 3 goals at crucial points and Daniel F for his tireless defensive effort and ability to make goal scoring chances from nothing. Freya D and Ella S also starred in the girl’s matches providing endless attacking run to clear defence.
A special mention also goes to both team captains (Emilia & Charley) for their outstanding efforts in goals.
Boys:
1- 1 Draw vs Gospel Oak (Goal Scorer: Ezekiel)
3-1 Loss vs Kingsgate (Goal Scorer: Oliver W)
4-0 Win vs Eleanor Palmer (Goal Scorer: 2 Oliver W, Sean C, Daniel F)
Girls:
1-0 Loss vs Gospel Oak
1-0 Loss vs Kingsgate
2-0 Loss vs Eleanor Palmer
Our next round of games are on the 29th November.

The first 2 games were unlucky however on the 29th November (and hopefully the rest of the tournament) we will do our school proud.
