It was a wonderful afternoon in the Nursery, we were busy learning, sharing giggles and the sun was shining bright! When we went into the Nursery for a lesson we noticed something strange… the Evil Pea had moved! And in that move he left us a challenging letter!
If you aren’t familiar with the Evil Pea, he is from our topic text Supertato! He causes mischief and is often not very kind, which was proven true in his letter left for us. The evil pea captured our biscuits! He gave us several clues, sending us all over the Nursery to solve his tricky riddles. When it came to the final clue we had to use our blending skills to uncover the location of our biscuits! Lucky for us, we have been working very hard in phonics and uncovered the biscuit location: Miss Owens desk…. how convenient!
We celebrated our learning and victory with a milk and biscuit picnic! That Evil Pea will have to think of trickier clues next time because we are almost ready for Reception!
