Last week we learnt that by showing ‘Care for Creation,’ we know that all life on earth is sacred and holy and we are responsible and accountable for it.
We understand that respect for the dignity of life extends not just to every human being on earth, but to the universe in its entirety.
We know that all of God’s creation is sacred and reflects something of who God is and that caring for this earth is part of what it is to be a Christian.
We discussed that the Catholic Church has a long tradition of teaching about the God-centredness of the earth, which clearly focuses on the responsibility all people have for caring for creation.
We discussed how we can Care for Creation as individuals and captured this on our hands holding God’s world of Creation.
