Why reading to a young child is important? Number one …it is a lot of fun! Snuggling up with a good book to share is a wonderful way to pass the time with your child.
Reading books aloud to children also stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word.
