This week Condors class have become roving reporters and investigated the tragic events in Ukraine. They took time to research their story then explored what information would be relevant and the importance of the 5 W’s. After independent research, they decided which information was important and what they wanted to include and how they would order it logically.
We then practised writing our articles using the techniques and features of a newspaper report. We paid particular attention on how to improve them with appropriate language and relevant quotes. As official reporters we of course published our work in a newspaper format.
