Condors had a really fabulous day at the RAF Museum to link in with our World War 2 topic. We looked at so many types of aircraft and learned about what situations they were used it, how fast they flew, when they were made and so much more! We also had a workshop where we travelled back in time to a wartime classroom. We were taught by a terrifyingly strict teacher who was in the classroom on her own with 50 children. We used ink pens which were very difficult (and messy!) to write with. It was so memorable and exciting, especially when the air raid signal went off and we all had to hide under our desks to stay safe.
