Dignity of Workers
This week we have been discussing our Catholic Social Teaching topic; ‘Dignity of workers’ and each child in Lorikeets was given a ‘job’ such as;
light switch monitor book monitor kindness monitor tidy monitor fruit monitor
We each made a badge to wear because we were proud of our jobs.
Half way through the week, we discussed how doing our jobs made us feel and how we would feel if the job was taken away from us for no reason. We decided this would be unfair.
We said a prayer to ask God to look after all the people in the world who are not treated fairly in their work.
