Last week, the Ducklings waddled all the way to Kentish Town City Farm where we were met by Chris to give us a guided tour of their wonderful farm. It was so exciting to see all the baby animals and the new plants and flowers springing up from the ground to say hello to the sunshine! We learnt all about what the different kinds of babies are called on the farm. Did you know that a baby pigeon is called a squab?
The ducklings were even lucky enough to stroke a kid. No! Not a kid in our class! A baby goat kid!
Although, Chris had a bit of a time catching them!
They were very soft and love the attention.
They even liked getting up on the chairs to get even more stokes!
We had to make sure that we washed our hands thoroughly afterwards so that we didn’t pick up any germs.
We also got to meet All the tortoise. He was very friendly and loved eating dandelions!
That’s so cute!!!!!?? Please put up a picture of Charlotte.
That looks so fun, with the animals. My sister, Charlotte loved it. Especially the fairy’s slippers.
i really liked seeing the pig and stroking the goats. Looking at the fairy’s slippers was fun.
