Eagles class enjoyed a fantastic trip to the RAF Museum as part of their History learning on World War 2. We had a great time exploring the planes of WW2 and timing when they were used in the war. We then ventured over to the WW1 hangar and explored how and why these planes were different.
We had time for a quick rest to enjoy our tasty packed lunches before going back in time to a World War 2 classroom. We had a very strict teacher who delivered a lesson on shillings, pennys and farthings which we were excellent at. We had just begun our handwriting when out learning was interrupted by a siren and we all had to take cover under tables. Luckily no one was injured but we did have to prepare to evacuate the city. Fortunately, we zoomed back to present day and got to head back to school. Have a look at out day below!
