In Eagles (Year 5/6) children are working hard to solve word problems using long division and multiplication. They used their prior knowledge of times table and factors to find the answers. First, they learnt to process and underline the important information from tricky problems and then chose the correct operation. Finally they worked out their answers using the bus stop method for long division.
