In Literacy, we have been reading the book ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers and we have had lots of interesting discussions. We have looked at pictures of the earth, thought about London and even more closely, we have talked about ourselves and our school.
We have really enjoyed discussing all of the wonderful things we have here on earth and we have even described them to help our new friend Gert! We’ve also thought carefully about how we can look after our world and our school, this book is inspiring us to think like Oliver Jeffers; ‘Think we not me’.
Our friend Gert has enjoyed our work so much and learnt so many new things, that we have convinced him to move here for the winter!
Who knows what he will get up to next!
