Last Wednesday we were lucky enough to have Johan and ‘Cookie’ visit our school and lead Cricket lessons with Lower Key Stage 2 . The coaching duo, both proud members/players of Highgate Cricket Club, led sessions that were focused around the key cricket skills of fielding, catching and batting. Children were then challenged to apply these new skills to an exciting class game of ‘Diamond Cricket’. The 4 classes that were lucky enough to have a lesson had a fantastic time learning about this wonderful game. Here are some photos of our Rosary Cricket Stars in action.
