Today we visited Kew Gardens to launch our ‘Climbers and Creepers’ topic! It is a Science topic. We had a workshop where we were Plant Scientists! We identified the different parts of a plant. Then we hid some raisins like squirrels and managed to find them later in the day!
We also went to the desert and rainforest section in The Princess of Wales Conservatory! We loved seeing the different plants! We also used microscopes to look at different flowers. We sketched some flowers using magnifying glasses and looked at different seeds.
After lunch we even visited the playground! Thank you to all our parent helpers.
