Today, we read the story of when Mary, Joseph and Jesus went to Jerusalem for the Passover feast.
On the way back home, Mary and Joseph noticed that Jesus was missing. They searched for him for three days and finally found him in the temple, listening and conversing with the teachers.
First, we freeze-framed a scene from this story and thought about what the different characters would say and think. Then, we discussed what this story teaches us about Jesus and reflected on how we can follow his example. We suggested ideas such as “We should try to learn more about God and Jesus and make our faith stronger” and “We should go to church regularly and pray and demonstrate our faith”.
