Today, we explored different ways to represent a three-digit number. Using a variety of resources like dienes, place value counters and arrow cards, we demonstrated our understanding of place value. We practised standard and non-standard partitioning. This hands-on activity deepened our understanding of the value of each digit in a number and allowed us to explore creative ways of representing numbers.
