This game is practising number bonds, with an emphasis on fast recall and subitising.
Questioning: How else might you score 7? Why hasn’t 1 started the race yet? Why is it so hard to get a 12 in this game? You’ve nearly won, how might you get your last 8? If you played again, would you change your bet? 2 and 12 aren’t doing very well, why not?
