Today we enjoyed a brilliant assembly led by Dee Mansi of the St Vincent de Paul Society who told us all about how our school is going to become a Mini Vinnies school!!
This will involve a special group of children applying to become representatives for Mini Vinnies.
These children (Mini Vinnies) are inspired by the work of St Vincent and like to turn concern into action inside and outside school! Baking cakes for a local nursing home, fundraising for a charity in Africa, singing carols to the elderly, working to end unkindness in school, making cards for people in need and helping others in need are just some of the things that our Mini Vinnies will get up to!
