We had a great day today raising money for the NSPCC and playing lots of Maths games for Number Day!
We arrived at school in our creative Number Day t-shirts which had lots of number facts. In the morning, we had an assembly explaining the importance of raising money for the NSPCC. We found out that our money will go towards supporting the NSPCC Schools Service and Childline so that every child knows how to keep safe and has a trusted adult to talk to. We also learnt about all the jobs that use Maths – everything from chefs to architects to scientists and engineers… the list goes on. In the afternoon, we challenged our partners to some Maths games and participated in the whole-school TT Rockstars competition.
