Today, we took part in a workshop all about Rivers around the world.
First, we imagined our own river and thought of an adjective and a movement to describe it.
Then, we learnt about the Thames and enacted a TV show, taking us on a cruise down the river. Some of us acted out people fishing in the Thames, some were factories along the banks of the river and some were sunbathing and eating ice cream in Southend where the Thames meets the sea.
Finally, we debated how we should be using and taking care of our city’s river. We thought carefully about both sides of the argument and were extremely respectful while listening to each other’s ideas.
