On Thursday 14th January, four brave Year 6 children visited Eleanor Palmer School for the fifth annual ‘Camden Schools Maths Challenge’! They had to take part in a seriesĀ of difficult, fast-paced maths challenges as a team, competing against 11 other schools from the borough. Challenges and activities included a giant ‘Cross Number’, a ‘Speed Round’, a ‘Logic Round’ and a ‘Relay Round’ which involved over half an hour of running around a school hall with the answers to very tricky mathematical questions! Our team worked so hard and impressed Miss Smart (and all the other schools) with their energy, enthusiasm and lovely manners. After all their hard work, the winners were announced and – out of 12 schools – we are SO proud to say that Rosary Catholic School came in THIRD PLACE!! Check out our fantastic rosettes! Well done to our team and all those who took part from other Camden schools.
