Gospel: John 1: 35 – 42
The Gospel this week tells the story of Andrew’s first encounter with Jesus, where they spend time getting to know one another, talking and relaxing just as friends do.
Our prayers this week are about the nature of prayer, and how we can get to know Jesus better through our times of prayer.
Each day there is a different focus:
Monday – Chatting with Jesus, who is our friend
Tuesday – Telling Jesus about the details of our lives, knowing He is interested
Wednesday – Confiding in Jesus our worries, fears or upsets
Thursday – Asking Jesus for help
Friday – Saying sorry
