Our topic is ‘Fire and Fleas.’ It is a History topic. Today we visited The Monument! We saw the ‘Pudding Lane’ street sign which is where the fire started in the early hours of Sunday 2nd September 1666. We climbed 311 stairs up to the top of The Monument! We saw many London landmarks including the Shard, the Gherkin, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge. We even had a singalong to ‘London’s Burning’ AND received a certificate! We loved seeing the part of London which was affected by the Great Fire!
