In the Nursery we are so many things: smart, strong and of course we always choose love. This week we celebrated our love for each other, our families and our planet in lieu of Valentines Day!
We made Valentines for our families with finger print painting and practised writing “I love you” – which was so rewarding! We also cut out and decorated hearts to give to each other in the Nursery which was another heartwarming activity! There was a lesson on our hearts: we listened to the sound it makes and took a virtual journey inside the body to see just exactly what the heart does! We really enjoyed this super science lesson!
We also learned a fabulous Valentines Day song called, Will You Be My Valentine? If you see a Nursery friend, ask us to perform it! Here are the lyrics to follow along:
Will you be my valentine, valentine, valentine? Will you be my valentine who loves me everyday? *GASP* Yes I’ll be your valentine, valentine, valentine! Yes, I’ll be your valentine who loves you everyday!
After all of our exciting learning this week we look forward to reconnecting with our loved ones over half term and we hope you do too!
For the love of learning,
Nursery
