As we come to the end of another very successful term at Rosary we wish you all peace and joy this Christmas and share our latest news.
We had a lovely assembly this morning when we reflected on the true meaning of Christmas and celebrated the generosity of our children and parents in supporting our CAFOD appeal and Christmas Tree Project.
Police Christmas Tree Project
The Police came to assembly to collect the gifts bought with the children’s donations -many thanks to Catherine, Ruby’s mum, for co-ordinating this project.
CAFOD Gifts
The children raised nearly £1,000 pounds for CAFOD from their Christmas celebrations. Each class raised money to buy their chosen gifts which included a camel from Key Stage 1! It is so wonderful to hear the pupils taking about the true meaning of Christmas and showing an awareness of how important it is to reach out to others at this time of year.
Festive Designs
We had another surprise visitor to assembly this morning – Nigel Coan from Hadleigh Residential arrived to present Nancy and Emilia with prizes for their winning Christmas cards which will be on sale after school in the playground. Well done girls!
You can read all about our festive designers in this week’s Ham and High.
