Kingfishers at the V & A

The Kingfisher Class had a fantastic time visiting the Victoria and Albert Museum, where they explore a wide range of art, design and history. A particular highlight was the architecture gallery, where students had the opportunity to hear directly from working architects about their projects and careers, bringing their learning to life. 

Following this, they took part in a hands-on workshop in which they designed their own model spaces with accessibility at the forefront. Students thoughtfully incorporated features such as ramps, sensory lighting and clear visual displays to ensure their designs could v used and enjoyed by people of all abilities. It was an inspiring and enriching experience that sparked creativity, collaboration and inclusive thinking.
