Nonesuch Orchestra

This morning, we enjoyed a fantastic live performance and workshop with the Nonesuch Orchestra. It was an exciting and interactive experience that introduced us to the wonderful world of orchestral music.

During the session, we had the opportunity to move around the orchestra and explore different types of string instruments. The musicians demonstrated how each instrument produces sound and we loved hearing the variety of tones. One of the highlights of the morning was the chance for some children to step up and conduct the orchestra themselves! We also all joined in with a call-and-response song, using our voices and clapping to participate alongside the orchestra.
