Toucans Crick Workshop

Toucan Class enjoyed an exciting visit from the Crick Workshop this week. The children learned all about germs—both the helpful ones that keep our bodies working properly and the harmful ones that can make us unwell. They explored how germs spread, how our immune system protects us, and why good hygiene is so important. The highlight of the session was using real microscopes to look closely at tiny microorganisms, letting the pupils see a hidden world they’d only heard about before. It was a hands-on, fascinating experience that sparked lots of curiosity and great questions!
